Directions:
-- Prepare by cleaning and shaving (if necessary) the area before applying.

Obviously there’s no fool proof way to make it 100% pain free, but this definitely made my first tattoo experience smooth! We were able to thug it out for 5.5 hours with occasional numbing spray to help toward the end. I will definitely be using for the remainder of my sleeve
I have been using this product for this current back piece and it has helped tremendously. There are times I may not have applied the cream in certain areas which has absolutely been noticeable but the other areas have been extremely tolerable especially the ribs and along the spine.

Having just finished up two full sleeves my artist told me to try painless tattoo since im 48 and the pain and healing process is sooooo bad now, OMG!!! Trust me!!! This is the best.... sat through this whole tattoo and didn't even feel a vibration! Went home amd my arm was still numb. Told my artist that is was too numb, that I would like to atleast feel something ( joking of course) .. I got the spray also and about 2 hours in on the second sleeve when it started wearing off i just hit it with the spray, let it sit 5 mins and back too it!! You will definitely thank me. One packet(dose) numbs 1/4 an arm for 2-4 hours. If your procedure is longer than 1-2 hours, or painful area is larger than 1/4 an arm, we recommend 3-5 packets(doses) in most cases to ensure you have enough.
1 - 3 hours on average. Some say longer. Directions of use are important in order to be effective for maximum amount of time. Like, putting the cream on 2 hours in advance.. For example, will then only work for 1-2 hours.
We changed the packaging of Painless Tattoo™ Numbing Cream for several reasons.
- To promote better sanitation. Despite our old tubes being equal to one dose, many customers would attempt to save them. Once a product like this is open, beyond sanitary concerns, the product can also lose it's potency.
- To reduce the shipping mishaps. The new sachet (packet) format nearly eliminates the possibility of tubes being damaged in transit.
Similar to applying any new substance to your skin, Painless Tattoo™ Numbing Cream can cause some minor side effects, although not everyone will experience them. A mild reaction (paleness or redness of the skin, slight puffiness, initial burning or itching) may temporarily occur in the area where the cream is used. This is not uncommon and should disappear in a short while. If you experience any troublesome or unusual effects, stop using it and check with your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible. If you know that you are prone to having sensitive skin, please test just a small amount first. Keep in mind that some minor localised redness is normal. If you have VERY sensitive skin or allergies, you should consider whether this product is right for you or not.
