-- Wash and exfoliate the area to be tattooed, lasered or pierced thoroughly with soap, water and exfoliator to remove dirt and dead skin this will help the cream penetrate. Dry area completely.
-- Apply a thick amount of numbing cream (2mm thick) to the area and rub in thoroughly.
-- Cover with plastic wrap. The heat under the plastic wrap helps activate the cream and keeps the cream from drying out.
-- Leave cream and wrap in place for a minimum of 30-45 minutes before procedure. Anymore than 45 minutes shortens the time in which it is effective.
-- After 45 minutes, remove the cling film, wipe the cream away and clean the area thoroughly once more and you’re ready for your pain free tattoo!

One tube numbs 1/4 an arm for 3-4 hours. If your tattoo is larger than 1/4 an arm or goes longer than 3 hours, you need more. We recommend 3-5 tubes in most cases to ensure you have enough and your entire session can be PAINLESS!
3 - 4 hours on average. Some say longer. Directions of use are important in order to be affective for maximum amount of time. Like, putting the cream on 2 hours in advance.. For example, will then only work for 1-2 hours of tattooing. Apply Painless Tattoo 30-45 minutes before tattooing begins for best results.
We caution against applying to broken skin. It is recommended instead, to split that tattoo into 3 hour segments and apply and remove the cream to each section prior to starting. IE; 9 hour session split into 3 x 3 hour sessions and several tubes of cream.
AVOID RE-APPLICATION WHEN POSSIBLE. DO NOT LEAVE ON BROKEN SKIN FOR MORE THAN 15-20 MINUTES.
