Tattoo Aftercare: The Do's
1. Keep It Clean
- Immediately after the session: Your artist will cover your tattoo with a protective barrier. This is to prevent airborne bacteria from invading your wound. The dressing can usually be removed after a few hours, as advised by your artist.
- Washing: Gently wash your tattoo area twice a day with lukewarm water and mild, antimicrobial soap. Let the area dry completely.
2. Moisturize
- Hydration is key: After cleaning, apply a thin layer of your Painless Tattoo Aftercare product. This keeps the tattoo hydrated and promotes healing. Keep it moisturized. BUT, Avoid over-moisturizing, as this can suffocate the tattoo and cause issues.
3. Protect From the Sun
- Do not expose your fresh tattoo to the sun until healed.
- Sunscreen: Once healed, protect your tattoo from sun damage by applying a high-SPF, broad-spectrum sunscreen. This prevents fading and maintains the vibrancy of your tattoo.
4. Allow Time to Heal
- Patience: Healing times vary, but generally, a tattoo takes about 2-4 weeks to heal on the surface and up to 6 months below the surface. Follow your artist’s advice and give your skin the time it needs.
5. Wear Appropriate Clothing
- Loose and breathable: Opt for clothing that doesn’t rub against your new tattoo. Natural fabrics like cotton allow the skin to breathe and heal.
6. Avoid Water Immersion
- No swimming or soaking: Keep your tattoo out of pools, hot tubs, and bathtubs until it fully heals to avoid infection and ink loss.
7. Temporarily Modify Workouts
- Be careful with: Heavy sweating and stretching of the skin can hinder the healing process. Limit intense physical activity for a bit,

I'll use it again to tattoo cream is awesome and tattoo. Number spray is good. And I also use the butter after I get tattoo, and I have the whippet they all work perfect.
Numbing cream definitely works. I followed instructions as stated. Felt my hand numb 45mins in . Definitely ordering me more once I’m ready for my other projects. Alpha whip is smooth and gives it a nice shine as well. Great product!
It was less greasier and helped heal, and I got the butter too I used that at first when I get tattooed and after a day or so, then I put the whippet on there, I like the way to whip it feels it's making it feel easier and better thank you.

Alpha whip is great! It doesn’t leave a tacky residue smells great and adds vibrancy to the ink. The only gripe I have is I received tubes and not cans like all the photos show. I tried reaching out to customer service phone number and left a message but no one responded.

Was getting a piece done and my artist started using their numbing spray near the end. I have nerve damage and it started getting to me bad, but felt so much better after she used this stuff that I had to order some for myself. 10/10 spray. Excited to try the butter and whip for healing.

I normally don’t write a reviews, but I used the Alpha Whip cream on my new tattoo and was quite pleased with the results. It’s a great choice for moisturizing while helping the tattoo stay vibrant and clean. Plus, it really helps soothe the itching during the healing process.

I used the Painless Tattoo and the whole experience was truly painless! Of course I could feel it, but it was really easy to sit through. I doubt that I will ever do another without this miracle product!

I’ve recently received newer (socially acceptable) tattoos in places where my laser treatments happened. That’s my history. Now let me arrive to how my review on Painless Tattoo connects with me. I stumbled upon using Painless Tattoo products recently while having my artist blast newer ink designs back onto my body. With my artist’s suggestion, I have used the numbing cream, the numbing spray, the aftercare gel (which I don’t think is carried anymore), the alpha butter, and whip. These products work. Follow the instructions, and they work. My pain tolerance isn’t what it used to be decades ago, and now I get to give my artist the time he needs to express his art on my canvas. No need for any more breaks. Long overdue. I highly recommend Painless Tattoo products
This is a really amazing product. It smells just as good as the Alpha Oil and Alpha Butter. It goes on smooth and absorbs very well. Even during the "hot" phase where my skin feels irritated and really hurts, this product soothes and feels really well. I cant say enough great things about this product.

At first I liked it but it feels like I added a barrier to my tattoo. And would feel strange when my clothing rubbed my tattoo after it was applied
The product itself isn’t bad. It’s ok at best. It comes in a squeeze tube not a pump bottle. Anyway. I ordered it, got my original order, which took 2 weeks btw, it was wrong. It took 7 WEEKS AND 7 EMAILS to get a response. Then I never got an answer when I replied. I had to leave a negative comment on the site for someone to reach out. Which then again after I replied was ANOTHER 2 WEEKS before I heard back. She setup an exchange of the incorrect item for the whip and said she’d even include an extra one. I finally got a label and sent it back. Then it took ANOTHER 4 WEEKS to get the replacement. I never got an extra but I really don’t care. I’ll use it but I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM PAINLESS TATTOO!! Their customer service is absolutely atrocious and absolute garbage and I WILL NOT associate myself with a company that doesn’t care about their customers. I’ll find another, better product with EXCEPTIONAL customer service and stick with them! At this point I honestly WANT A FULL REFUND and I’ll send back the unused portions of everything!

I inquired and told them I’d be returning a spray for whip, (I paid for a whip). I sent it back 4 weeks ago! I sent an email inquiring and NOTHING! No refund, no exchange. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I WILL NEVER BIY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER BIY A PRODUCT FROM THEM EITHER! At this point I just want a refund for everything and I’ll send back my bitter and oil as well. I should have stayed with Mad Rabbit, at least their customer service is on point if nothing else!

This tattoo cream is great and smells really good also. Its been great on the new tattoos ive got in the last couple weeks its gonna be my go to from here on out i use to use curel and that works fine but i like the smell and this lasts longer on the skin then just unsecnted lotion does. 5stars for sure
